2009 FLORIDA LOCAL AMERICAN QUEEN TITLE HOLDERS SOUGHT

Palm Coast, FL, October 1, 2008 –The 2009 Florida State American Queen Pageant will
take place on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Sheraton Studio City Hotel in Orlando,
FL.

Local titleholders are now being sought and appointed for city, town and county
titles throughout the entire state of Florida to represent their areas in the state
pageant. Local titles are being awarded based on residency in the following age
divisions:

• “Junior-Teen”, ages 13-15
• “Teen”, ages 16-18
• “Miss”, ages 18-27
• “Ms.” Ages 28-60 (any marital status)
• “Mrs.” Ages 21-60, married a minimum of 6 months

The local titleholders who are selected will represent their cities/counties/towns
as they compete at the Florida State American Queen Pageant in Palm Coast in the
following judging categories: Interview (with a focus on Community Service),
Fitness, and Evening Gown Presentation. There is no talent competition and no
height or weight requirement.

At the state pageant, Florida State American Queen Title holders in each age
division will be crowned for 2009. The 2009 Florida State American Queen Title
Holders will represent Florida at the 6th Annual National American Queen Pageant in
August of 2009 along with state title holders from all over the United States.

American Queen Titleholders dedicate a great deal of their time during their year of
